Wow, the first few days in Auckland have rushed passed so so fast, it's mental, I feel like I'm on a tour again.

I arrived in Auckland after a rubbish nights sleep in the hostel before, made up by an awesomely luxurious airplane ride. I actually flew with Quantas for a change, not their cheap subsidiary airline Jetstar. Plus I got the long legroom and window seat followed by inflight entertainment, a really nice meal, free tea, and ice cream for pudding. I was a very happy bunny :D

In Auckland I had to treat myself to a subway as there was no way I could be bothered cooking, and then a chat to girls who have just finished their kiwi adventure to get some hints and tips, and then a much needed really cosy nights sleep.

Luckerly the guy opened breakfast for me in the morning which was really nice so I got some proper food before embarking on getting to the bus. After going right passed it and 10 minutes down the road, I realised my flaw and legged it back, which was a bit of a fail with all my luggage, I think I was a little bit sweaty :/ oh well!

We arrived at the Coromandel Pinisula early afternoon, known for its hot water springs at low tide, the water was warm if you dug down to it, but I wasn't amazed. The afternoon was better as we went kayaking, this was beautiful! better yet, my arms didn't hurt at all because I ent with the guy leading it and told him of my shoulder issues so he paddled the whole way round for me and I didn't feel guilty (like I ddi with Matt in Halong Bay) because I'd paid ths guy to do it. After paddling round some spectacular scenery and riding some awesome waves, we stopped of at Cathedral cove for a cuppa. The cave is famous for the Narnia: Prince Caspian, and was just as stunning in real life. I really enjoyed the trip and realised how much I'd forgot what intense travelling was like.

Yesterday we were at Waitomo, and literally the only thing to get involved in is the caving. But as I'd done so much exploring of caves already, and the budget is going to seriously fail here with everything the kiwi experience has to offer, I gave it a miss, caught up on my tan, and went to the pub later with the girls which was lovely.

I'm loving New Zealand, though 3 days in and I'm exhausted, god knows what I'll be like in 2 months of being on the road, god help me!
